[Clark was there at 5 pm exactly, just as promised. His hair was a little wind-tossed and his tie had been loosened so it looked like he’d rushed here, which technically he had, but there was a huge smile on his face. Ever since they’d talked earlier it was all that he could think about and it was everything he could do not to show up early. But Clark knew from experience that the anticipation made it even better. Dawn had ALWAYS been worth waiting for, both in his life and general and anytime they were going to be together.

Checking the time one last time to make sure he wasn’t earlier Clark knocked on her door and waited for her to either open it or call him in. If she really was going to wear nothing but her apron then he didn’t think they’d be doing much besides fucking in very short order.]

[Dawn's entire afternoon has been filled with a low but delicious sense of anticipation, texting with Clark always leaves her feeling excited to see him but this day in particular she's extra excited to see him and when she hears him knock on her front door she feels a tingle go down her spine.]

[When Clark enters her apartment he'll smell fresh baked cookies and when he comes into the kitchen he will see Dawn, standing with a plate of snickerdoodles in one hand. Dressed, as promised, in nothing but an apron and a smile.]
